SEMRUSH is one of the best search engine marketing tools
available, and I highly recommend that you take it for a test-drive at the very
least. You can use the link below to get completely free access to SEMRUSH for
14 days, which usually costs $150. (You do need a credit card to take advantage
of this offer, but you can cancel your subscription anytime within the 14-day
trial period.)
Using SEMRUSH to find profitable AdSense Keywords:
To get all you can from this excellent tool, I
suggest you first compile the following tools:
- Google
Docs spreadsheet or any other tool you’re using to manage keywords.
- SEMRUSH
account. (Get complete 14-day free trial using this link)
- List of
high and medium authority blogs in your niche.
Login to your SEMRUSH account, and type the name of the
domain that you want to use for finding long tail high CPC keywords.
On the next page, click on organic keywords > Full
list, and you will be shown a list of keywords that are
driving traffic to the Warrior Forum.
Now, you simply need to sort the list by clicking on
the CPC tab, and it will sort the list in order of high CPC keywords
first.
Interesting to note is the fact that the majority
of high CPC AdSense keywords are usually long
tail keywords.
Indeed, some of them are as high as $70+ per click!
Now begin copying the keywords which you think
are most suitable to your blog. (I usually note most of
the keywords on my content-planning Google document, and I use these
notes later for structuring content on ShoutMeLoud or any other blog.)
Continue to repeat the process for the other domains
on the list, and by the time you have completed this exercise you will
have an extensive list of high-CPC AdSense keywords.
Since you are already targeting niche-based long tail
keywords, you are most likely to rank higher, and drive traffic on those
keywords. This is one of the simplest and fastest ways to skyrocket your
AdSense earnings.
Keep in mind that you need to make sure
your keywords are driving traffic from countries like the United States.
Otherwise you are not maximizing your potential from this tip.
Top Most Expensive Google Keywords
The Top 20 Most Expensive Keywords are:
- Insurance
- Loans
- Mortgage
- Attorney
- Credit
- Lawyer
- Donate
- Degree
- Hosting
- Claim
- Conference Call
- Trading
- Software
- Recovery
- Transfer
- Gas/Electricity
- Classes
- Rehab
- Treatment
- Cord Blood
You’ll notice that these top ten most expensive AdWords
keywords deal primarily with financing and industries that manage vast sums of
money. The fact that the educational keyword “degree” is one of the top ten
most expensive Google keywords, right up with lawyers and credit, reminds us of
the growing cost of education.
There you have it – the highest cost keywords. If you are
considering entering into one of these industries, be ready to pay high cost
per click rates for the top keywords. While some may start treatment facilities
for the greater good, be aware that you’ll wind up in one of the most expensive
niche groups, and your paid search marketing wallet will suffer from those high
CPCs.
